PAS2035 standards aim to address the energy efficiency performance gap in existing homes by providing a systematic and holistic approach to retrofitting. Promoting the use of appropriate technologies, quality assurance, and the engagement of skilled professionals to achieve improved energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions in the built environment. Having conducted multiple whole house retrofit projects over the years, LCX adopted the fabric first methodology in 2017. This approach has become second nature to our teams, operating solely within the social housing and local authority sector we have fine tuned our approach and resident engagement processes making us one of the leading retrofit contractors within the sector.
The Process:
The projects we deliver achieve transformational change for our clients with outcomes that also enable their residents to live better, facilitated by a hierarchy of low-carbon technologies and increased insulation levels to the building fabric that reduce energy consumption and save money.

As a PAS 2030:2019 accredited company, we employ highly skilled staff comprising of retrofit assessors and coordinators whose detailed planning incorporates a whole-house (fabric-first approach). All of our teams are supported by dedicated project, resident engagement and site based teams skilled in delivering a large range of retrofit measures. The programmes we deliver are all delivered to PAS2035 standards, allowing our clients to access funding streams which require this strict certification. We understand what is required to make the journey as stress free for our customers as we possibly can.
