A full fabric first approach was adopted to ensure maximum thermal efficiency of the properties. Heating surveys were conducted to determine correct sizing of Quantum systems, and temporary heating was implemented during works to ensure residents comfort.

On site we identified failed cavities in multiple properties, requiring more urgent attention to ensure successful retrofitting. These were extracted fully and cleared of any rubble, before refilling with ThermaBead. Window and door replacements were delivered by nominated subcontractor Anglian who designed, surveyed and installed composite doors and high energy efficiency Windows to PAS2035 standards. Solar PV systems ranging from 3.2 to 4kw systems were installed with Solax inverters in loft spaces. Consumer units were all upgraded and fitted diverting excess energy to existing hot water tanks, new interlinked smoke and heat detectors were fitted. We facilitated the trusted subcontractor for solar PV works, alongside delivery of structural roof strengthening to accommodate panels. Full roof replacements were also carried out by our trusted subcontractors to a full Redland specification using new tiles.

We took time to discuss the process of delivery, timescales, and addressed concerns with residents. As with all of our clients we assisted in the completion of forecasts and milestone related paperwork to help ensure funding was on track and reported successfully.
