Fusion 21 Framework

In January 2022, we were successfully appointed to the Fusion21 National Decarbonisation Framework, worth up to £750 million.

Housing associations, local authorities, NHS trusts, blue light organisations and education providers are all striving to meet the government’s net zero target by 2050. This framework supports design and delivery of energy efficiency measures, combining contracts that can deliver thermal fabric improvements, heating and renewables, power and building management systems.

Our appointed lot is for Whole-house Decarbonisation (up to £500 million). Providing solutions for whole house energy efficiency measures to PAS2030:2019 standards. Including various forms of fabric insulation, ventilation and renewable technologies. The scope also permits property improvements to be carried out during the retrofit.

The Benefits of this framework to Fusion21 members:

  • Suppliers are PAS2035:2019 compliant & Trustmark accredited
  • Compatible with public sector decarbonisation funding
  • Regional & Local UK coverage
  • Direct award and further competition call-off options
  • Supports members in delivering social value
  • Support from our team of technical procurement experts

John Farley, Framework Manager (Construction) at Fusion21 said: “We are delighted to welcome all new suppliers onto Fusion21’s Decarbonisation Framework, including ‘Low Carbon Exchange’. The tender process was highly competitive and has identified the best contractors for members to use for the delivery of both domestic and non-domestic retrofit schemes to the latest standards. Members accessing this framework will benefit from flexible call-off options, UK-wide coverage and the option to deliver social value to their communities, aligned to their organisational priorities.”
